Founder & Facilitator
Kristy Oliver-West began studying Improvisation in 2000. She has trained with some of Atlanta’s top instructors and theatres over the last 15 years. In 2009, Kristy founded Atlanta Improv Events using the methodologies of Applied Improv to teach critical communication skills and team building. In 2014, she re-branded as The Brink Improv offering more of a full service business solutions company. With over 10 years of experience and knowledge working as a sales professional in various corporate environments, Kristy has a true passion for applying the art of improvisation to the business world. Kristy remains very active in the Atlanta improv community performing regularly with local troupe, Brickhouse Improv.

Mark first got into comedy while studying film at Northwestern University. He had a chance to work at Comedy Central through the Chris Rock Summer School Program for up and coming comedy writers of color. During his time at Comedy Central, he got to pitch jokes to the writing staffs of "The Daily Show" and "The Colbert Report." Mark performs comedy in Atlanta at Dad's Garage Theatre Company and other spots around town. He also teaches improv classes and sketch writing. Mark has spent time studying at iO Chicago, Second City Chicago, and The Annoyance Theatre and recently he was named "Best Professional Funnyman" by Creative Loafing. Mark brings a wealth of knowledge to the sessions he leads and we are proud to have him on The Brink Team!
